The Agrigento Cathedral or Cattedrale Metropolitana di San Gerlando is located at the top of the hilly city of Agrigento in Sicily.
In a city which is most famous for its Valley of the Temples archaeological site, the wonderful Cathedral doesn't get the attention it deserves. The beautiful Romanesque structure was built in the 11th century and has an excellent ceiling viewing area. |
