The Porto Empedocle ferry timetables detail the routes available to and from the two Pelagie Islands of Sicily.
Porto Empedocle is situated on the western coast of Sicily, facing the Mediterranean Sea, a distance of 169 kilometres from the closest of the two main Pelagie Islands which is Linosa. A much greater number of visitors make the journey to the main island of Lampedusa which lies 215 kilometres from Porto Empedocle and reachable with two types of boat. The ferry journeys operated by Siremar take almost ten hours to reach Lampedusa while the hydrofoils take just over four hours. |
