The Syracuse Cathedral, or the Cathedral of Syracuse (Duomo di Siracusa), is a significant religious site in Ortigia, the historic centre of Syracuse, Italy.
Initially a Greek temple, it was converted into a Christian basilica and later rebuilt in the Baroque style. The cathedral houses the remains of Saint Lucy, the city's patron saint. |
