Mount Etna

The summit of Mount Etna soars to a maximum height of 3,326 metres above sea level, making it the highest active volcano is Western Europe. It's situated within the Metropolitan City of Catania province, an hour away by car from Catania Airport.
It's possible to drive a long way towards the summit until you reach a cable car system that transports you to the site of the crater. |
