Taormina Beaches

Occupying the small peninsula at the foot of the famous hill town, the Taormina beaches are among the most beautiful in Sicily.
One in particular draws gasps when seen for the first time: the aptly named Isola Bella. The tiny island is the centrepiece of the bay with beaches on both sides fringed with shallow water. You can get some amazing photos of Isola Bella from further up the hill at the Belvedere di Via Pirandello panoramic viewpoint. Each of the three other beaches gleams with turquoise water with the bay of Mazzarò something of a resort in its own right. |
