Castello della Zisa

The Castello della Zisa is one of ten properties in Sicily that are listed under the same UNESCO World Heritage listing of Arab-Norman Palermo and the Cathedral Churches of Cefalù and Monreale.
Situated in what is now a large residential area of Palermo city centre, it was originally commissioned by William the Bad, the 2nd King of Sicily but finished in 1175, nine years after his death. |
