Tiny Isola San Pantaleo is a small island located in the Tyrrhenian Sea, off the northern coast of Sicily in the province of Messina.
Historically, the island was used as a place of worship and is named after Saint Pantaleon. It is most famous for the Whitaker Museum and the Mozia archaeological site. It can be reached via a small ferry system next to the Stagnone Nature Reserve near Trapani. |
