The Tyrrhenian Coast of Sicily covers an area of around 350 kilometres from Torre Faro close to the Italian mainland in the east, across to the Aegadian Islands at the opposite extreme.
Facing out on to the Tyrrhenian Sea on Sicily's northern coast, the area is studded with coastal towns and beach resorts as well as the island's capital: Palermo. Among the seaside towns on the Tyrrhenian Coast is Cefalù which is one of the most popular holiday resorts in Sicily. |
